Business mentoring

The Business Mentoring programme provides mentors to businesses looking for guidance. Having a mentor can mean that you have someone to turn to when you need advice or encouragement, someone who understands the issues you are facing and who can give you an impartial view.

Mentors are not consultants, they will only provide advice based on their own experience. By acting as a sounding board for their mentees, they walk alongside them as their business grows. The mentor's role is to support and develop, stimulate and challenge.

Business mentors are volunteers who are highly successful businesspeople in their own right. The mentors are keen to share their experience and wisdom with women who are aiming to grow their businesses. If you plan to develop your business and are willing to meet with a mentor a couple of hours a month then this could be a very effective business tool to help you plan your way forward.
